Neora Valley National Park

The Neora Valley National Park is one of the last remaining hill forests of the Eastern Himalaya. It hosts numerous species of orchids and ferns under the covers of oak, rhododendron, sal, and dense bamboo groves. It is the habitat of endangered species like the red panda, clouded leopard, and musk deer. It is also the territory of leopard, five species of civet, black bear, sloth bear, golden cat, wild boar, leopard cat, goral, serow, barking deer, sambar, and Himalayan flying squirrel.
