On the foothills of the Himalayas and just 42 km away from Bhuntur Airport at Kullu lies a mini Israel, more popularly known as Kasol, Himachal Pradesh. On the way to Manikaran, this little village is a haven for backpackers.
Small hikes and treks take you to small and picturesque villages. White sand, greenery, and small boulders are where the Parvati River flows through. The village of Kasol is all about the deep blue sky, local folks, Parvati river and greenery.
New and Old Kasol is separated by a small bridge. Another very attractive part of Kasol is the Israeli food. Enjoy typical Israeli cuisine and excellent bakes from the German bakery. For backpackers enjoy staying in tents close to the Parvati river.
You can visit beautiful towns of Malana and Tosh which are within 20 kms from Kasol. So, next when you are in Himachal, visit Kasol to walk and explore tiny picturesque villages or just enjoy a laid back holiday with your favorite book.
