Mitali homestay, Shantiniketan has the looks and feel of a heritage home. It offers home stays to its guests in an affordable tariff. Mitali homestay is a heritage home situated at Shantiniketan, Bolpur which makes a major effort to attract like-minded guests who appreciate and protect the uniqueness, tranquility and beauty of the home. It has two types of accommodation – The Main House and The Annex.

The Main House, in addition to a bedroom unit for the resident family, has two A/C double-bedded rooms with attached baths for guests. There are artifacts, knick-knacks, old books and music in the common areas of the main house.


The Annex has two, quite separate, accommodations for guests. One is a small, self-contained apartment with two rooms, a terrace and a kitchen that is fully-equipped with stove, refrigerator-freezer and Aquaguard water-filter (the double-bedded room has an A/C and cable television, and an attached bath; the single-bedded room has a desk and connects to the terrace). Clearly, this apartment is more suitable for a small family, and for longer stays, encouraging them to do their own cooking when desired.
