Located at an altitude of about 7000 ft, Sribadam is a tiny and pictorial hamlet situated in West Sikkim. Lush green forests, rivers, waterfalls and monasteries envelope the village of Sribadam. Sribadam is a place for travellers seeking peacefulness and serenity. The village is inhabited by people of different communities such as Bhutia, Subba, Gurung and Rai with different customs, cultures and traditions creating a cultural ensemble that is uniquely appealing. An annual Cham dance (Mask Dance) performed by the monks at Palyul Dechen Gaweling Monastery in the month of December attracts visitors from Nepal, Bhutan, Darjeeling to Sribadam. Sribadam is an ideal place for meditation.

Sribadam is located only 82 kms away from Gangtok, Sikkim and 135 kms away from Siliguri. One can reach Sribadam via Melli- Jorethang- Soreng.

The ideal time to visit Sribadam is in the month of March- April and October- November, the skies are clear and gorgeous views of hills and valleys can be seen. It is also favourable to go for a short hike to the nearby pine forests, Barsey Rhododendron Sanctuary, Raami Dhaam during these months.
