Meghalaya is one of the most beautiful states in India. It is surrounded by hills, tropical forests, and green landscape. Situated at extreme North-East India, the central part of Meghalaya is elevated to form the Khasi Hills. The state is build up on Archean rock formations and has pre-historic rocky terrain covered by subtropical moist forest with high species variety. The monsoon causes heavy long-duration rain in the state and the first and second wettest spots of the earth are located here. Meghalaya is also known for its cultural versatility with the co-existence of three tribal cultures – Jaintias, Khasis and Garos. We recommend at least 6 nights stay at Meghalaya to enjoy its’ variety. Here is a tour plan which may be customized according to your need.
